02 May Fairway Mortgage Reaches New Heights!
Climbing to the top demands strength, whether is is to the top of Mount Everest or to the top of your career.
You can never conquer the mountain, you can only conquer yourself.
There is “no I in team” as six members of the Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation set off to California to climb Mount Whitney certainly proved last week. Mt. Whitney is the highest summit in the contiguous United States reaching an elevation of 14,505 feet (4,421 m). Located in the Sierra Nevada mountain range, Steve Probst (of Islandia, NY Fairway), Ken Pederson (of Lancaster, PA Fairway), Michael Hardy (of San Damas, CA Fairway), Nino Pascale (of Scottsdale, AZ Fairway), Joe Thesisen (of Sun Prairie, WI Fairway), and our very own Tom Tousignant (of Charlotte, NC Fairway), spent several days making the trek towards the top of the mountain while also spending time working together and learning about themselves as men and as leaders.
Fairway Independent Mortgage is lucky to have such a great group of guys leading several of the company’s branches. Their effort to work together to reach new heights and bring great energy back to their offices is what allows Fairway to continue with such incredible leadership. This company is a team through and through.
Said our regional (and branch) manager, Tom Tousignant, “The hike to Mt Whitney was an amazing trip. That word is over-used too often, but truly applies here. Getting into a spectacular natural environment with some great friends from Fairway and challenging ourselves and each physically and mentally to climb the mountain affected us all in profound ways. We came back better friends, with great respect for the teamwork, leadership and skill of each guy there. It is special to be part of a company with people like we had on the hike to share this experience with.”
